 Communication

Tuition billing begins on your enrollment date and continues monthly on the same date thereafter. If you ever need to update

the credit card on file, simply TEXT us at 804.889.BARN and we will send you a link to change out your credit card.

We’re here to support you and make the billing process as smooth as possible!

Sweet Acres Farm operates on a 12-week/quarterly schedule to provide structure and consistency for all our students. Each student signs up for quarterly with a required 30 day termination notice. For instance, after your introductory month, if a student enrolls on in April, during the Spring Semester, they are commited through June for three payments.

When signing up,  students are automatically enrolled for the current or upcoming 3 months quarter unless we receive written notice of cancellation on the 3rd payment of the quarter, providing 30 days notice.

Please note that each student is financially committed for the full quarter, even if they’re unable to attend lessons. For example, a student who enrolls on October and cannot attend due to illness, injury, vacation, etc. would still be responsible for tuition through December.

Our program relies on students who can commit for the full semester, and we appreciate timely notice if you plan to cancel. This allows us to invite students from our waiting list.

Self-Scheduling and Make-ups

Please give us 12 hour notice if you will not be attending your lesson to recieve a make up lesson/ stable card. We understand this isn’t always possible, but appreciate any advanced notification. If you do not cancel your lesson on Hopoti, there is no make up available.

Students will have access to an online scheduling tool that shows all our available lesson times, making it easy to book a set number of lessons each month. The scheduling is flexible, allowing you to arrange sessions to suit your needs, whether that’s once a week or multiple lessons in one day. Each session is a 30-minute private lesson, a 45 minute semi-private, or a 1 hour group lesson. Initially we provide private lessons until the student is able to trot and navigate independently. At that point, the student levels up to an hour long group class.

Make ups/Stable Cards will expire after one month.

We’re dedicated to offering a high-quality riding program, and we’ve invested significantly to make this experience valuable. Even attending 75% of your scheduled lessons will provide immense benefit and skill-building opportunities.

Cancellations/Terminations

Students may cancel this agreement on by last payment of the quarter without incurring an early cancellation fee. Cancellations made before this month will be subject to the monthly fee. Enrollment will automatically renew at the current rate (upfront or monthly) until Sweet Acres Farm is notified via email at [email protected] or by text at 804.889.BARN, allowing us to update your payment plan accordingly.

Child Supervision:

All Children under 13 years old must be directly supervised by an adult in and around the barn at all times. Children over 13 must have an approved agenda to be at the barn.

Please do not feed the horses without permission.

Whether your riding or not, parents and children must be wearing shoes or preferrably boots that cover their whole foot.

No Guarantee:

The company does not warrant or guarantee any specific level of performance or results. The results of your riding program are largely based on the efforts of the student.
